My tooth sensitivity is gone after tooth filling (filling with silver amalgam) but I still have pain, even after 2 days of filling. What could be the Reason?

One of the cause is high point. Visit dentist and discuss your concern. Removal of excess filling material will correct that. And if pain remain present after this step, there r chances of deep cavity/present infection under filling. RCT is must in that case. Yr dentists approach is right, his/her is conservative.
