A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. Hello Sir, Use desensitizing tooth paste in particular region. Apply it over tooth leave there for 2-3 min then do the brushing. If sensitivity continues visit your dentist.

Hello lybrate-user. It is mostly because of the opening of the nerve roots because of weak gums or dental caries. First find out the exact cause by proper check up and then taking proper treatment will solve the problem.
Don't waste money after the advertised toothpastes. As they are just temporary anaesthetics. And won't help much.
