My brother is 51 years old. He had heart attack one month ago. He was given the treatment with angiogram and one stent. After a week he had pain in left kidney. When the CT KUB test was done, it revealed as "LT MID URETERIC OBSTRUCTION (35 MM calculus) GROSS HYDRONEPHROSIS AND THINNED OUT PARENCHYMA" When this report is shown to the urologist said that the kidney is not functioning. Is it true? He also said that we can't go for kidney treatment as he has stent. His creatinine test shows 1.8. What should we do? Please advise.
