She is 29 and the birth pill she uses is "Suvidha" She is taking from past 2 years. Also we do not want any barrier contraception such male/female condom. Please help. She is getting melsma after using birth control pill and the dermatologist asked to stop immediately. We have no child and wanted to avoid pregnancy for next 1 or 2 year. Can we go for non-hormonal IUD. What are the cost and consequences. Pleas assist.

It will be better if you go for Barrier contraceptive, If not wlling for Barrier method you can go for CU-T (non hormonal IUD) insertion .it's inserted on 5th day of cycle ,for 3-5 years .if you plan conception earlier you can get it removed earlier. Some pt complain of pain in abdomen ,spotting or heavy periods after CU-T insertion.
