- Symptoms of malaria include fever, chills, sweating, headache, weakness, bodyache, abdominal pain, vomiting
- prevention is by avoiding collection of water in & around the house as the larvae of the mosquito breeds in it, mosquito proofing the house by installing mosquito net on windows & doors, applying mosquito repellent cream on exposed parts of the body, wearing full sleeve shirt & trousers to protect from bite, using mosquito coil & appliances in the house, maintaining good hygiene & sanitation in & around the house, fumigating the surrounding area with mosquito repellent chemicals.
