My sister is having irregular periods with long duration time. First she was diagnosed with hormonal imbalance and treated with medications (not accessible for me right now). After the symptoms started to appear back. Then when diagnosed again the doctor told that she is having pco like ovaries. While a few google searches I came to know that it is a serious issue. I would like to know the symptoms and treatments for the same. I was also able to see that there are many diseases which can mimic the symptoms of pco. She is afraid that it would lead to infertility and many health issues. I need a clear concept of this issue. I am consulting the one who is reading this due to google searches will not be accurate and cannot be believed. Please advise me with the issue. Thanks in advance.
