My wife is suffering from thyroid for last 3 years. She is using 100 mg thyronorm. We are planning for 2nd kid. Some one told me it is not good to go for pregnancy at this thyroid level and also infants will born with either metal or physical defects if mother has such thyroid history. My internet research almost telling me the above. My first kid born in 2011. She don't have thyroid at that time. Please let us know is it good idea to go for 2nd kid and also what should be the ideal health condition that she should start working to prepare her body for 2nd kid. Thanks in advance for reading my query. Your valuable suggestions will be highly appreciated. Looking forward for right answers.
