I am 43 years old, non-diabetic, non hypertensive, slightly elevated blood uric acid levels, sedentary lifestyle, doctor by occupation, busy with my professional life, tried palio diet and lost 6 kgs over 5 months and after they stopped palio diet because of the fear of high no veg diet, and started eating regular diet now and regained my previous weight within 4 to 5 months, need suggestions and plan to keep my weight under control and healthy and fit, suggest me few options Suggest some diet plans. Exactly, due to elevated uric acid you need to adopt the low purine, also to maintain weight you need to eat vegetarian diet. Protein sources should be 500 ml low fat milk, split dals only, drink almost 3-4litres of water daily Avoid- whole pulses and legumes, non veg, multigrain flour, refined foods, oily and deep fried foods, junk and processed food.
