Hello The fibrocalcific foci are formed anywhere in an organ after the infection on the same region is healed. This is a sign of recovery from that disease. For example, in lung disease like tuberculosis (TB) fibrocalcific foci can be seen later on the x-ray film indicating patient had infection in lungs in past.
