september 17 I was admit max hospital delhi in suffering dengue fiver plate late is 18000 after 7 days my blood plate is 55000 and doctor discharge me. after 2 month my plate late is 30000, hemoglobin 13.5 rbc 4.31 wbc 7700 what can I do.

Thanks for your query. Dengue fever is a viral disease which can thrombocytopenia (low platelet count). Juice of papaya leaves is helpful in increasing the platelet count. Take its juice every morning for a month. Also Tab. Caripil can be used to increase the count as it contains papaya leaf extract. Along with this following foods help in increasing platelet count- 1. Pomegranate 2. Pumpkin 3. Carrots, kale, sweet potatoes 4. Spinach, oranges, beans, asparagus 5. Lettuce, Broccoli, olives, soyabean, eggs 6. Wheatgrass 7. Milk 8. Oysters, crabs, chicken and fish meat.
