Hi, there are many foods that help you for a healthy heart. Berries such as strawberries, blueberries, about 5-6 walnuts a day, 4-5 almonds a day keep your heart healthy. Usage of other healthy foods like oats, olive oil, rice bran oil, fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, Avocado (in limited portion) is best suited. Avoid junk foods, red meat, oily and fatty foods, stay hydrated all the time. Decrease the spicy foods as they can trigger blood pressure. Inclusion of Whole grain cereals, legumes and pulses along with vegetables and fruits gives you an added advantage. Vegetables like Beetroot, asparagus, bell peppers (capsicum), broccoli, garlic and ginger (in limited quantity), onions and green leafy vegetables have a positive impact on your heart and cholesterol levels. Regular exercise with at least 20-30 minutes walking initially and extending it to 15 minutes every 10 days will be helpful as you have a better peripheral circulation.
