Through exercise you can increase the quality of muscles (endurance of muscle). Proteins are the building blocks of your cells, if you are not taking sufficient protein with your diet, you will not get much new cell formation. This is the case of muscle mass gain, with your exercise take sufficient amount of proteins, carbohydrate and fat, combined action of these three will help you to gain muscle. With your diet include good source of protein (Egg, chicken, mutton, fish, milk, all pulses and legumes and beans), all cereals and millets. Also include all different colored fruits and vegetables. Through including different verity of food you will get all the nutrients for normal body function. Make a healthier habit of food intake with proper timing, after arranging proper timing, plan differently for your muscle gain. Before 30 to 45 mins of exercise take easily digestible energy rich protein foods (milk shakes/ fruit juice with egg white etc), then do your workouts and 'before, during, after' exercise take water properly. Take one glass of water and start your exercise, during exercise sip enough water don't gulp as such, and after exercise once your heart rate come to normal take sufficient water and after 30 min take protein rich foods from above mentioned source. And also in between meals maintain 2 to 2.5 hours gap, these will help you for proper digestion. Proper amount of food and protein intake is not possible without your complete details.
