Three days back I experienced a lightheadedness, unsteadiness, nausea and perspiration while travelling in a train. I am a type ii diabetic on Metformin 500 BD and atorva 20 HS. My BS levels are 150/220 TGL levels are 475. Is this a forewarning of a cardiac problem. I lead a moderately sedentary lifestyle. I do not smoke or drink alcohol.

Your diabetes is still not under control .you need adjust your medications. As your triglyceride is high you need to take additional medication including fibrates, nicotinic acid etc. Above mentioned problems can be due to increased/ decreased sugar, blood pressure, increase lipid components. And you might be at risk of chronic diseases in future like heart diseases, kidney diseases. Your sedentary lifestyle is contributing in the same. Start exercising daily exercise of 30 min is must.
