Dear Lybrateuser, - Along with medicine you have to follow some dietary precautions for your problem: - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, do not lye down for about an hour after a meal, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, raise your pillow end by 4-6 inches while sleeping at night - take tablet Pantop, half an hour before breakfast daily morning - do not overload your system with water, have 1-2 litres per day as per the climatic condition & your degree of activity - avoid more than 1-2 cups of tea/ coffee per day, avoid citrus fruits, beans, pulses, dairy products, fried & spicy foods, alcohol, smoke (if you do) till the symptoms improve - do regular exercise like walking, jogging for 20-30 min, also do yoga for proper digestion & to keep fit.
