Hi, I am male, 35, I have always had an upset stomach for as long as I can remember, recently I started noticing foul smelling Flatulence, it smells like rotten eggs, I was on naproxen twice daily (For back inflammation), but recently quit, also quit coffee, i'm on a healthy diet, a lot of vegetables, Doesn't seem to matter if I reduce my vegetable intake, Foul smell still occurs. My gas frequency is normal, around 10-12 times daily. Usually the foul smell occurs after eating dinner, right before going to the bathroom. Around 3 out daily gas has bad smell. My stool is mostly runny, but not watery, i'm also lactose. I wanted to check if this is normal. Thank you.

Hi, Mucus in stool may be due to colitis, chronic diarrhea or irritable bowel syndrome. So you need to avoid food which are heavy to digest. Fish & meat are heavy for digestion so it is advised to avoid them. This will exaggerate your symptoms.
