Suffering from hyperthyroidism (TSH level 7.62 mIU/L, eltroxin 25 mcg tablet is correct medicine for it. Or not?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. When on treatment for hypothyroidism with adequate dose of Levothyroxine TSh should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, to be free f rom all the symptoms of that condition. Hence, TSh 7.62 mU/l is high, the dose of thyroxine needs to be increased. Thanks.
