I have been suffering from social anxiety for about 5 years now. My current doctor put me on Sertraline 100 mg and Risperidone 2 mg daily (he told me to take sertraline at morning after break fast, and Risperidone at night, but I take both at night because I also have sleep anxiety and taking sertraline before bed helps with the heart palpitations. If I don't take it before bed its almost like I can't fall asleep) and the social anxiety has decreased a bit around 30% but I still get bouts of anxiety when I'm socializing with people. Just want to know am I on the right path of treatment? Thank you in advance.

Yes you seem to be on right path of treatment based on what you have said. But I guess the treating psychiatrist knows more than you have mentioned. So if the symptoms are under control, it is best to follow his advise. All the best.
