This is about my father who is in mid 70 he used to have bronchitis but it is now under control. He do not eat much or rather not like eating and has gone week. He walks with bend back. I need to know if we can give him weight protein (from Nutrix) to give him some strength. We want him to stay healthy and fit as much as his age can allow.

Thank you sir for your query. I would suggest you not to use protein powder for weight gain. It has been seen that some people develop skin allergy after taking protein powders. Since your father has a history of bronchitis, although it is not mentioned whether infective or allergic in origin, might recur if taken protein powder. * you can instead start giving him Ashwagandha powder or tab twice daily with milk if taking ayurvedic medicine won't be a problem. Thank you.

Better give him milk products instead of synthetic proteins.
