I have gastroesophageal reflex. I have burning in the heart area and always troubled with bloating. It started before a month when I got pregnant just as bloating. Then I had aborted. With intake of Misoprostol (medical supervision) and the bloating worsened. Now it is terrible at alternative intervals. I was having misoprostol even before 3 days vaginally. Please doctor help me with medications. God bless u.

Dear Treasa. Thanks for the question. Acidity during pregnancy is common. Avoid fried, spicy, or rich (fatty) foods or any foods that seem to cause relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter and increase the risk of heartburn. Drink less while eating. Drinking large amounts while eating may increase the risk of acid reflux and heartburn. Take care
