I noticed a pin drop of blood in my stool today. I was constipated. This happened to me a month back and it cleared itself after 2 - 3 days. I had my blood work done and all my values were normal. Should I consult a gastro or is it just a fissure?

Yes, constipation is the cause leading to fissure probably. Take good laxative. If less relief, show to general surgeon.

Respected lybrate-user hi fissure or hemorrhoid may be an issue. No need to visit Gastrosurgeon at present. Maintain to take plenty liquids, high fiber diet and get soft stools. Avoid oily spicy nonveg. If problem persist then later consult General surgeon dear thanks regards.
