Hi I and my husband is facing for fungal infection near the lower areas at hips which is not getting cleared because of him even I am affected. In Hindi we called it dath. We are applying lobate I'm in the night and I the morning absorb powder. Also using ketostar star soap. Every year we face the same problem during monsoon. Also we are eating terbinaforce tablet one pill in the night. Kindly recommend permanent remedy.

Hi Ruhi For the Treatment of fungal use luliconazole cream once daily for 2-3 weeks. You may also need oral antifiungals if the lesions are extensive. For itching take oral antihistaminics including levocetrizine or allegra. Keep using antifungal powder and soap. Wear cotton undergarments which are loose fitted. Hope that helps

Hello lybrate-user! Firstly STOP using Lobate cream. It contains steroid and will not give any benefit. It may also cause side effects. Using antifungal soap will not make much difference. I need to the extent of the infection so that I can prescribe the correct medicine. You may start an online consult for that.
