Dear lybrateuser, - Your water intake depends on your physical activity & the environmental temperature - normally a person should have about 7-8 glasses of water in addition to other fluids - if you exercise & sweat & if the temperature & humidity is high then more amount is required - a rough estimate of adequate hydration is the urine colour which should be pale yellow .
