I am a 27 year old male. Since last 1 year my temperament has become very low & I start irritating on small things very early. Another thing is don't remember the thing for very long. Whatever I do, read or watch I forget it after 1-2 hours so I am not able to describe the things to anyone. After one major setback in my life all these problem have started. I am doing Yoga since 6 month but it has hardly make any difference. please help me out.

Dear Lybrate user As you have mentioned that you faced a major life setback, it may be a reason for all these behavioural problems you are facing. life events do bring change in our day to day activities. but the impact of those events depend upon the evaluation or inference we draw from those events. our interpretation of events lead to development of loads positive and negative chain of thoughts, feelings and actions. Try evaluating the impact of the event in your life. Try to take some learnings from it and assess how can you cope up with it. try talking about it with someone close to you. letting out our feelings help us to feel light. try witing your feelings whenever you feel loosing control. Reflecting upon our feelings provide us insight about our own self. If things still bother you, try consulting a counselor. best wishes
