I was treated for Chlamydia recently along with my partner. She had been treated about 10 days ago, while I was treated early June. Is it safe for us to have intimate of sexual contact again since treatment is 7 days? If not when should I resume unprotected sexual activity? When should I be retested? We have not kissed, but have had protected sex with condoms.

Hello- Normally, seven days of abstinence after complete cure of Chlamydia infection is sufficient, however if the treatment is not effective or the underlying infection is not fully cured, it may infect your partner during sex. Its better to restrain all kind of sexual activities till a month.
