Assuming this person is NOT a diabetic:
1) It is very important to make sure she is a diabetic or not. Just because the blood sugar level (random) is 470, doesn't mean she is diabetic. Get FBS, 2 hour PPBS and HbA1c done.
2) If this is her random blood sugar and she has symptoms of high blood sugar (excessive thirst, hunger & urination with or without weight loss), she is a diabetic and needs immediate treatment.

Whether diabetic or not, a weight of less than 40 kg in a 21 year old is quite low. From all this, I strongly recommend she meet a Diabetologist immediately.

470 mg sugar lavel is way high in dangerous levels it could also be due tto levels taken immediately after a huge meal but it MUST be investigated for Diabetes and proper mgt if +ve.
