Antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins & macrolides are considered to be compatible with breastfeeding although there are theoretical risks of alteration to infant bowel flora and allergic sensitisation, WHO recommended exclusive breastfeeding (i e, no other fluids or solids) for six months and then continued breastfeeding combined with solid foods for 12-24 months or as long as desire. So, if your baby has no any bowel problem or allergic problem, then you can continue baby's breastfeeding.

Usually breast feeding need not be stopped if the mother is on antibiotics. Also 11 month old baby is already eating from the family pot. So breast milk is more for pacification at night. Do give him 3 major and 2-3 minor meals contain dal, chaval, veges, soups, mashed roti, banana, mango, dahi etc. Proper complementary feeding takes care of 80% dietary requirements.
