I am 20. 5 years F. For some reason, I feel very insecure while using condom. I always fear it may fail and when we come to know about it, it's generally very late. I wanted to know about oral contraceptive pills like unwanted 21 days that are available in the market. How safe are they and how effective, especially around 12th to 19th day of cycle when there is high chance of pregnancy. What are the side effects? Do they cause any complications in pregnancy later when I want to get pregnant? I plan to use them for like 3 times a year with regular gaps.

Condoms are safer to use for a lady's health as there are no hormonal concoction getting into your system as hr far too young. But like they say some contraceptive is better than no contraceptive at all. You will need to consult a female sexologist either in person or take an online consultation to get prescription for th contraceptive pills. Also I must mention condom not only protects from unwanted pregnancy but it also protects against sexually transmitted infections which are rampant and women as twice as vulnerable as men to acquire them. All the best to you and I hope you take an online consultation with doctor rather than experimenting with pills and getting yourself into problem. Don't go around asking the pharmacist as they r not doctors. Good luck to u. Take care.

Dear Anup, Condoms are safer and helps to avoid pregnancy and sexual transmitted diseases. But the risk is always there due to rupture or slippage of condom and quality of condom and the way sexual activity is being carried out. For any pills or advice please consult. All the best.
