Dear lybrate-user, At your age, you might me suffering from adolescent anterior knee pain or patella tracking problem. It may be caused by recent change in shoes, new sports or change in technique whilst playing sports or flat foot. It is not clear from your post whether you are getting any pain from your knee joints or it is just the popping sounds. If you are just getting the sounds, there is no need to worry. If you are getting pain along with sounds it might be helped with strengthening exercises, rest, ice fomentation and probably with sole inserts.
