About Brakke Tablet

Brakke tablet is a combination medicine whose active constituents falls under the category of fluoroquinolones and amoebicide which means that it is largely used to treat infections caused by bacteria and/or protozoa.

This medicine is used for a very wide variety of bacterial infections that include intra-abdominal infection, pelvic and gynaecological infections, lung abscess and acute diarrhoea or dysentery due to mixed infections.

Furthermore, it is also used to treat any infections that occur in the eyes, nose, throat, ears, urinary tract, cervix, urethra, urinary bladder, sinus and the respiratory system, making this a very versatile drug.

Brakke works by inhibiting crucial enzymes present in the DNA of the bacteria. These enzymes are responsible for helping the bacteria thrive, and the medicine basically stops the bacteria from spreading or growing.

Some minor side effects of taking this medication include diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, dry mouth and trouble sleeping. However, it can also cause a few major side effects.
