  Lose Your Weight Quickly but safely – Atkin, Dukan or Keto?

 

All the three Atkins, Dukan and Keto diets are low carbohydrate diet which is used in weight loss plans.

Atkin’s Diet:

  • There is a restriction of veggies as carbohydrates from veggies per serving are also countable in Atkin’s diet.
  • Foods included are meat, seafood, dairy, and veggies.
  • Good for people who don’t want to count calories but this diet is not good in a long term.

Dukan Diet:

  • Foods included are lean meats, fish, low-fat dairy, low starch veggies, oat bran etc.
  • Dukan diet allows the foods from the list of hundred of natural foods.
  • Dukan diet allows eating till you satisfied from your hunger cue.
  • This diet is not recommended for kidney or cholesterol patients.

Keto Diet:

This is a diet containing high fat but low carbohydrate & standard protein. Most children with epilepsy or those who are interested in cutting down fat as soon as possible.

Dukan Diet main phases:

  1. Consolidation Phase: You can take unlimited lean protein with veggies fruits like berries, chopped melon, medium apple, orange, pear, peach, kiwis, plums or apricots, little carbohydrates like two pieces of bread, little butter, cheese, pasta, starches up to 225gm/week and fats including 2.5 tablespoons of oat bran per day. In a week one day with lean protein and oats only.  This phase is proteins with veggies and limited carbohydrates and fats.
  2. Stabilization Phase: It is same as consolidation phase only oat bran amount will increase to 3 tablespoons/day. In this phase, no foods are strictly avoided.

Pros:

In this type of diet, you can get enough quality protein especially lean protein which is the key source of strength, stamina & overall muscle builds up. Body builders can be highly benefitted here this type of diet to get toned body

Cons:

  • There is a risk of losing bone density which results into osteoporosis.
  • Low fiber disturbs stomach and causes IBS.
  • Not recommended for electrolyte imbalanced patients.

Atkin’s Diet main phases:

  1. Fine tuning Phase: Dieters should follow the restrictive diet for at least for a month.
  2. Lifetime Maintenance: Here healthy diet with limited carbohydrate is allowed to maintain a target weight.

Pros:

  • There is no counting of calories the only amount of carbohydrate is monitored to lose weight.
  • It allows rapid weight loss thus increases confidence.
  • Instead of a high-fat diet, this diet improves health and cholesterol level.

Cons:

  • Though the diet is very restrictive there is a chance of binge eating which causes weight gain instead of losing.
  • Following Atkin’s diet may result in constipation, Halitosis, and dehydration.
  • There is a risk of weight regain when back to normal life.

Keto Diet:

The stages of  Keto Diet are

  1. Hack Fasting: When body burns own fat you feel less hungry and intermittent fasting or little gap between foods is good for health.
  2. Optimum Health: Maintain your optimum health by devoid of harmful foods and including quality foods for a lifetime.

Pros:

  • Releases muscle for the better shape of the body.
  • Enhances cognition
  • Reduces risk of cancer, neurological disorder, PCOD.
  • Increases sports performance.

Cons:

Not good for athletes who needs high carbohydrates for performance.

Finally, considering all these pros and cons of all the three diets types, Atkin’s diet is the best followed by keto diet and the last is Dukan’s diet for safe weight reduction purpose. This would be the right decision for an individual to take proper advice by a dietitian to prepare a well-balanced low carb diet for fast but safe weight loss.

.I advice to come down yiur total weight so that can get relief all total. Pimples can be solved if add more fibers foods, can also antibiotic as per skin specialist, dark complexion can not be permanently solved but can be maintained by hygeine. You should weight loss so that get regular menstruation & belly fat. Better you should get some fat burning poses practice so that can easily loose fat all parts even on your body.

Hi welcome - I can advise you that two things can help you out. 1 > Diet which should be very low carbs but high protein, 10% only fat, no trans or saturated fats,bettre to use Olive Oil 2 > Rigorous exercises like belly fat focussed yoga/fat burning, avoid street foods junk, fast foods.

welcome - I advice to go with high carbs like more cereals, enrihed with quality protein like organic or plant sources, dairy foods, also sleep more 8 hours, green vegetables, fruits 2-4 pcs. are helpful for you. timely working, eating & activities can make fit always. Also, yoga can help you additionally. Further if you feel weak then can add PROTIENX with lukewarm water or milk.Further , you should not practice extensive exercises but normal walking , yoga only.

Hi welcome - I can say for Liver disorders you can add in your daily life like vegetables - All gourds mainly bottle gourds, Bitter gourd, Papapa Also drink more fluids, water , daab water, some salt, sugar, lemon mix water , watermelon, all sand produced , some citrus fruits like grapes, lemon, Mosambi, In good quality soft rice, fresh all vegetables, fruits, normal home made all foods are only best foods for you. Avoid all out side junk or fast foods & no fried foods, No outside water or open foods .

Hi welcome - You can consume more citrus fruits , fermented foods including south Indian khatta home made foods, apart from that add carrots, carrot juice, black berries, green grapes, AVOID ALL HIGH FATS, CREAM, SUGAR RICH OR SALTED FOODS.

Hi welcome - I advice to do the follwoing: 1 Add more carbs like boiled basmati rice, wheat, rice flakes, & other cereals also in Lunch or Dinner 2> more vegtables like potatoes, fruits like banana, grapes, mango, dry fruts all types. 3> sleep more 8-10 hours. 4> Drink water upto 3-5 liters as summer or less in winter or as per sweating or working patterns. Add fluids, juices 300-500 ml daily. Lastly, add enough quality protein by animal sources or if vegetarian then plant sources or dairy.

You can but not well accepted as per digestion, tolerance are concerned, you can try if you have gastric disorders..rest research going on for more efficacy.

Hi welcome - I willbe happy to help you. Zinc Monomethionine Aspartate is good altogether. If consumed ,Mg more than 450 mg or zinc more than 50 mg ,then may have Indigestion. Even Diarrhoea. Palpitation, belching etc. Its always safe to have proper dose as supplementation.

Hi welcome - Take high protein diet, hot milk, chana with sprouts, .also need sound sleep, no late night work, rest is required but no stress or mental tension. Eat good quality all foods you have daily. Of course high protein must. If you have done practice then you can win. One day food or Diet hardly matter for a day's performance.

Hi -There is no such particular medicine..keep your mouth full if saliva, just before meal so that won't happend. I can also guide as per my personal experience, if you can divert your mind during that hiccup time or feeling some goods/bad memories ,that means out of the status that you have hiccups or facing issues as a problem.

Hi welcome - I advice initially you can start with a high calorie full of carbohydrate enriched with all types of proteins based foods as diet. You can add fresubin/ b-protein with milk or lukewarm water two times 20gm/time. The best way to have good quality foods & 8-9 hours sleep.

Hi welcome - for weight gain you need to practice well planned high carbs enriched with quality protein diet. You can add supplement of whaey protein two times one with breakfast & another in evening or at bed time with milk or lukewarm water.

Hi welcome -i can advice to add one protein supplement like proteinx or kabipro / b-protien 2 scoops two times with 150 ml milk. Or lukewarm water. Diet- you need high calorie diet. That means you have to add quality meals enriched by protein. Add more rice in meals added by butter or ghee, some times fried rice or polao you can. Vegetables soup or strew 2 times, maximim mix vegetables in meals, 2- pcs sweets. In a day. Add sprouts, pulses. Add puddings cream paneer, yogurts, curd as possible. 2 pca big size banana like in break fast & at 11 am. Sleep min 8-9 hours. No stress, more water, electrolytes, fruits juices, banana shake, more importantly add enough protein by milk (d. T or skim), chana, curd, lassi, butter milk also better. Finally I can advice to add one protein supplement.

Hi welcome - you can assess yourself once you are affected regularly by cough & cold, infections of various types, fever may times even in a month, some times t. B or more chronic disorders. So I advice to have more protein if within 45 years of age of any male or female (here age is written for the patient). Max. Vegetables, fruits 3-4 times, sleep tight 8 hours, high quality carbs like khchdi with some protein (veg /non veg any), dairy foods, curd, fruit juices, more electrolytes, water etc. Mostly need protein, multivitamins, all rest all nutrients in a specific ratio.

Hi welcome - this is wrong concept. But it is true that banana is a high calorie fruit. Except few specific disorders any one can eat 2-3 pcs upto 100gm-150gm total per day or same quantity banana shake in timely manners. This is rich in potassium, calcium, some more minerals 7 some good vitamins also. This is high calorie effective for sportsman & also who have more dynamic activities.

Hello sir - welcome - first thing slim or normal weight is good for diabetic patient. I can see your bmi is 20.41 (normal range 18.5-24.9). So you can come a bit but not necessary. Add some more gourds family vegetables, little more cereals, sprouts, fruits, green salad, fruits juices (musambi) etc. Add 1pc 100gm size good fish. (breakfast-2 egg white), these may not directly increase weight but help healthy diet & fit body also some weight if alright.
