My mom is suffering from bad clod & cough from last 10 days and she has fever also from 3 days. Dr. said it is not normal fever not viral and he suggest paracetamol ip 650 and a nasal spray. Medicine is not working properly fever comes back after every 5-6 hours. Please suggest.

To find cause of fever you need a proper physical examination and investigation. You can do a CBC and chest x-ray pA view to rule out pneumonia and bronchitis. You can also do PS for MP other tests can be done based on what infection is prevalent in your area. Please consult with investigation reports. Paracetamol generally has to be repeated every 4to6 hr for continued effect.
