Whats symptoms if heart pumping is not normal working.

Thank you for the query. The heart is an organ which pumps blood (and hence supplies oxygen) to all other organs of the body (including the heart itself). If the heart is not pumping properly, its own blood supply is jeopardised which causes symptoms like fatigue, difficulty on breathing specially on exertion and chest discomfort/chest pain. In severe cases one may develop a ventricular failure or myocardial infarction (heart attack). If the brain is not receiving enough blood supply, one may feel dizzy and blackouts may occur. Muscle fatigue and pain may occur. The extremities (like hands and feet) become cold, since it is the body's natural response to try and preserve blood supply to vital organs like brain and kidney. Hence, blood supply to the skin is reduced, leading to cold extremities. A dysfunction of the heart can be detected by simple tests like 12 lead ECG and echocardiography (Left ventricular ejection fraction 55-70% normal). Regards.
