A solitary elevation of your uric acid (Asymptomatic Hyperuricemia) alone is NOT an indication for starting Febuxostat. Perhaps your GP has detected something else wrong.

Hi, It would have been beneficial if you had told us since how long you are having this pain. I am assuming your stools are normal and regular. There are a few causes of right lower abdominal pain: 1) Chronic appendicitis / Grumbling appendicitis 2) pain due to hernia 3) muscle strain 4) Abscess in the lower abdomen or upper thigh area. Solution: please consult a surgeon for further assessment. You may need a CT as ultrasound sometimes is not the best investigation. Hope this message helps you. Thank you.
