Dear doctor self is 59 years old female with height 5 ft and current bodyweight 54 kg. For sugar control taking voglibose 0.3+metformin er 500 mg od after breakfast and dapagliflozin 5 od after dinner. My hba1c as on 28/08/23 is 6.9, fasting sugar as on 09/8/23 is 135.7 and post prandial stands as on 09/08/23 at 143.4. I am on a normal food and walk 5 days a week for half an hour. I am worried because of my elevated fasting sugar level. I do also take bp medicine telmisartan 20+metoprolol 25 od and the bp (136/80) seems to be under control. Please advise on how increased sugar level specifically fasting sugar can be controlled within desired level. Regards.
