I am a 23 year old female 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. I suffer from severe anxiety. I?ve been having pretty constant heart palpitations for about 3-4 days. I have no chest pain or tightness. I feel heart flutters every 2-3 beats. I?m very scared and have been using the apple watches built in heart monitor. I have screen shots of my apple watch ecg I took and I can see where I have the palpitations. I really need a doctors opinion on if this is serious or just my anxiety. Please help.

A homeopathic practitioner, and I want to assure you that we can certainly work together to manage your symptoms of anxiety and heart palpitations. I appreciate the level of awareness you have about your own health, which is clearly evident in your use of the apple watch ecg feature to monitor your heart palpitations. Please understand that while I can provide guidance and advice, I am unable to provide a full medical diagnosis based on your description and the ecg screenshots from your apple watch. It is strongly recommended that you visit a local healthcare professional or a hospital if you experience persisting heart palpitations. Heart health is a critical aspect of your overall well-being, and it's vital that you get the appropriate medical attention when needed. Now, coming to the role of homeopathy. Homeopathy follows the principle of "like cures like" meaning a substance which causes symptoms in a healthy person can, in small doses, treat similar symptoms in a sick person. Your anxiety and heart palpitations may well find relief through this approach. There are numerous homeopathic remedies that might be beneficial for you. For instance, remedies such as argentum nitricum and gelsemium are often used to treat anxiety, while ignatia amara is typically used to treat symptoms that have a strong emotional or grief-like context. For heart palpitations, we could consider remedies like digitalis, lycopus, or cactus grandiflorus, which are known to have beneficial effects on heart rhythm. However, the selection of a remedy in homeopathy isn't just based on the disease or its symptoms but the individual constitution of the patient - considering your overall physical and mental well-being, personality, and even genetic and environmental factors. As such, while I have mentioned potential remedies, it is not a prescription or a substitute for a detailed consultation. Homeopathy also emphasizes lifestyle changes, like diet, exercise, and stress management, which are integral to treatment. As a homeopath, I would encourage you to adopt a healthier lifestyle, which might include regular physical exercise and a balanced diet to manage your weight, alongside stress-relieving activities like yoga or meditation.
