I got operations in fissure nd hemorrhoids on nov 3 2022, after surgery I am taking lactifiber. If I too k this my stool is normal if I don't take it becomes constipated. 2 1/2 mnts over till now i'm suffering this problem. I'm taking fiber food drinking 3litre water daily. Den too my stool is not coming outside. I don't want to take lactifiber daily. Why this happening for me.

Hello lybrate-user, probably you got habituated to the use of laxatives and that is y you get constipated whenerver you skip the laxative. Most of the times, it is our mental dependency then the actual physical dependency. So,keep patience, kept on trying, work on that to keep the stool soft without taking laxatives by taking plenty of fibres, water and liquid, papaya etc. These will definitely help.
