Hdllo, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. From the tsh level mentioned of 17th october, it is clear that you had hypothyroidism. When treatment is started with appropriate dosage of levothyroxine (which needs to be calculated based on body weight, height, t4 levels & age) is taken, then it takes over 4 to 6 weeks to show effect on tsh (reduction). In your case increase in tsh value after 12 days means the dosage was too inadequate. Please understand there is a need to take correct dosage for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks to see changes in tsh value and improvement in t4 as well as symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you have any questions please do come back. It is also necessary to check your lipid profile as hypothyroidism upsets cholesterol metabolism too. Thanks.

Since tsh levels are too high dose of thyronorm is very low. Repeat test should be done after one month. You have not mentioned about actual present complaints.in view of high tsh levels you should consult a consulting physician - internal medicine or better still an endocrinologist for some other tests like antibody study and monitor periodically under their supervision.
