Had unprotected sex on 2nd July. Had my last period on 22 june, and my period comes 5-7 days earlier, I took ipill within 2 hours of sex, and my period came on 14th july, for the safer side I took hcg beta test on the 21st july ie one month after my last period, the hcg value is 0.2, any chances of pregnancy now.

Fter you conceive (when the sperm fertilizes the egg), the developing placenta begins to produce and release hcg. It takes about 2 weeks for your hcg levels to be high enough to be detected in your urine using a home pregnancy test. The different tests for sale vary in their abilities to detect low levels of hcg. For the most reliable results, test 1-2 weeks after you miss your period. There are some tests for sale that are sensitive enough to show you are pregnant before you miss your period.
