Nhi dry socket tooth extraction ke baad within 24-48 hrs m hota h. Basically dry socket m jo blood clot bna hota h extraction wound m wo kisi b reason se dislodge ho jata h ya nikal jata h. Jiske wjh se wo wound expose ho jata h. Aur initial healing hi 7 days m ho jati h uske bad dry socket hone ka koi chance ni hota.

Chances r very less lekin agr last wala impacted molar surgery hua hai to ho bhi skta hai .aur 14 din baad dry socket hota bhi hai to uska symptoms 3 ya 4 din se hi dikhne lgta hai extraction k baad.

Hey Mr. lybrate-user there is very less chance of having dry socket after 15 days, usually dry socket happens 2-3 days after extraction and patient feels unbearable pain. If you are having severe pain and consuming 3-4 painkillers than there are chances that you might have dry socket otherwise there might be some other problem in nearby tooth, you should visit nearby dentist and get it checked.
