Hi, my mom has been noticing a small lump on her left breast since august 2021. She went for a normal ultrasound of the area in october 2021 which didn?t showed up anything. Then she went for checkup in feb 2022 to which doctors told her that there is nothing to worry about and no medications were given. On 9/05/22 she went to the same doctor again just to check the lump (she did?t have any symptoms or pain) just for her peace of mind she went to check again. Doctor asked her to do a mammography which showed up some suspicious and was advised to take a biopsy. She changed her doctors went to a different city and doctors asked her to start with some blood tests and fnac. The blood report (ca 15.3, crp and cea) were done which came out to be normal and the fnac report was still not clear stating suspicious for malignancy. She is asked to do pet scan now. She is too scared and is not ready to do the scan as the doctors have scared her already saying that she has a starting stage of breast cancer. Kindly provide the needful suggestion regards.
