Hi. I'm a 26 year old female. My periods are regular but I have unbearable menstrual pain and chronic painful acne on my face. Consulting with my gynaecologist, she advised it's possible because of hormonal fluctuations in the body and lifestyle. Also my prolactin levels are a little high (prescribed cabgolin 0.5 mg by going) my question is, how safe it is to start taking oral contraceptive pills and will it help my menstrual pain and acne issues?
