My question is for psychiatrist doctors. I am suffering from ocd, depression and anxiety since 7 years. I am taking medicines from 5 years. Currently I am taking serta 100 and risdone plus at night. After I take medicine in night I started feeling unease. May be its kind of panic attack. My heart feels heavy and feels very unease. What could be the reason? Please help me.

Hello. Try taking plain risdone instead of risdone plus. Risdone plus have an anticholinergic effect which can be the cause of your symptoms. Feel free to call me if you have any further query. Have a good day.

Dear Lybrate user you are suffering from ocd, depression and anxiety since last 7 years and also taking medicines, have you ever considered taking therapy or counseling? Panic attacks are the outcome of anxiety only. Even after 7 years of treatment, problem is still there. I would highly suggest you to go for counseling along with medicines, if you really want to resolve these issues. You need to watch your thoughts and change them and this can only be done by therapy. Taking medicines for longer time have lot of side-effects, and this uneasiness that you feel may be one of them. So without any further delay, seek counseling.
