Kriti you need a customised diet therapy as you are a breastfeeding mother to provide proper nourishment to your body too by tailoring your diet such a way that you are blood parameters such as lipid profile is not effected in a negative and you feel more energetic and active and able to breast feed your child properly. Moreover while planning a diet a nutritionist consider a lot of factors your weight, height, medical history, food likes, food availability, affordability, activity levels, medical condition. So, I will recommend you to consult a qualified dietician. General recommendations that I can guide you are as follow- 1. Avoid packed and processed food and dep fried food. 2. Indulge in some kind of physical activity if not restricted by physician. 3. Take a balanced diet with extra serving of fruits, milk and milk products to support your lactation. 4. Caffeinated beverages and sherbets are needed to be avoided. In simple word I can say you need to eat healthy.
