I'm a 15 old female child right now i'm on medications because my tooth is grossly decayed and after some days the dentist is going to extract the teeth and replaced it with a new one but because of that infection my half face is swelled up i'm taking medicines also i'm rubbing a cold pack also just want to ask it's been a day i'm taking medicines how much time is it going to take more to get my face to normal like when the swelling is going to go?

Hii. Don't worry. Take the same medicines for three to five days alone. It will subside gradually. Cold pack is used in case the swelling occured due to extraction and blood clots. You can try mild warm packs for once a day for two days. It will subside gradually. Then you can extract your teeth. Thank you.

Hello Swelling will subside with the medication, as soon as it does get the tooth extraction because now the infection made it's way in the fascial spaces.So you need to Get the tooth extraction asap
