I had diarrhea and gas problems yesterday most probably due to food poisoning. Situation yesterday: I started with digene in the morning. No relief. Then in the evening, I took 1 tablet of ranitidine 150 mg and 1 tablet of norflox-tz (norfloxacin 400 mg, tinidazole 600 mg, lactic acid bacillus 120 x 10^6 spores). Before sleeping I took 1 tablet of nutrolin-b plus (40 x 10^6 spores of lactic acid bacillus, pyridoxine hydrochloride 1 mg, nicotinamide 25 mg, cyanocobalamin 7.5 mcg, folic acid 750 mcg). Had a good night's sleep. Situation today: much better than yesterday. No gas. No diarrhea. But did not pass stool the whole day (opposite situation). I took 1 tablet each of norflox-tz and nutrolin-b plus after breakfast and dinner (total 4 tablets). Even lots of lemonade, water, and coffee did not help pass stool. How to cure this constipation? For the next 3 days I plan to: 1) have 1 tablet of ranitidine 150 mg every morning immediately after waking up. 2) 1 tablet each of norflox-tz and nutrolin-b plus after breakfast and dinner. But I am confused if I should replace each nutrolin-b tablet with the following two tablets: 1) darolac (which has multiple species of "good" microbes unlike nutrolin-b which has only lactic acid bacillus. This is to refill the gut with good microbes as the antibiotics have been doing mass destruction. 2) zincovit (multi-mineral and multi-vitamin) also, is it a good idea to have nutrolin-b plus / darolac with the antibiotic or after one hour of taking the antibiotic (or some other such delay in time)?
