Hi. Hair becomes dry when the natural oils produced by your scalp aren't getting the chance to nourish it. Management: -Shampooing dry hair every day will make it ever drier and more brittle since you're stripping those oils away on a daily basis. -Comb instead of brushing. -Avoid using hair dryer/ blower. -Avoid Straightening, curling, dyeing, or otherwise processing your hair as they can cause long-term damage, even if you just do it once. -Use a good conditioner each time you shampoo. -Do regular deep conditioning treatments at least once a week. (Combine coconut oil, crushed almond, and lemon juice. Warm the mixture and massage it on your scalp. Cover your head with a warm towel for about half an hour then wash your hair.) -Make a homemade hair mask. (Mix two eggs and a little milk with a squeeze of lemon juice and bit of coconut oil. Apply to your scalp and hair. Leave in for an hour to nourish your hair and give it vitamin support. Then wash your hair with a mild shampoo.) -Use finishing oil to protect your hair. (can try Argan oil, Olive oil, Coconut oil or Jojoba oil). -Eat plenty of nutritious foods known to benefit the hair. Aim to get plenty of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and iron. Choose salmon, sardines, nuts, avocados, and flaxseeds. -Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. This prevents your hair from drying out. -Avoid smoking. The smoke from cigarettes can end up damaging your hair. -Protect your hair from sun and other elements. Can wear a sun hat.
