I am 52 and my husband is 55. We have an active sex life. We have been using condom for protection. Till the time I had my periods regular, we used to have 1 or 2 occasions every month without condom (based on my cycle). I am in pre-menopause for last 5 years now and we could not have sex during this period without condom. I am waiting for my menopause to start so that we can have sex without condom. What kind of confirmatory test can I have to ascertain that I am no more ovulating? Also, is it safe to stop using condom completely for protection after my menopause starts?
