Hello doc, I have been under treatment for anxiety and insomnia for some time now. My main issue is that even after full 7-8 hrs sleep, after waking up within an hour I start getting sleep like attack in my eyes, they become heavy and puffy and I have to eventually lay down and rest for good hour or so to be functional again, this feeling subside as soon as evening sets in and as result I become fully active that I can't sleep in night if I don't take sleep med. I have been given modafinil for the daytime sleep by my doc but even that was in-effective for me. Please help me eradicate this problem as its very debilitating condition, what can be the cause for this?
