I was having acne from past 10 years. But now I am using sebmed face wash and neutrogena oil free face moisturizer in the morning and in the night I do face wash and then apply benzoyl peroxide cream this showing very positive results and now I just have one or two pimple. Can you please suggest me a good skin care routine so that I will not have new breakouts and can have completely healthy skin.

Apply benzoyl peroxide gel only over the pimples at bedtime. If you have an acne prone and oily skin you can apply tretin 0.25% cream as a routine over the entire face in very small amount at bedtime. Keep it for 1/2 hour to 1 hour, thereafter wash face with water and apply a moisturizer and sleep. Use a noncomedogenic moisturizer. Cut down on dairy intake and food with high glycemic index.

treatment depends on the grade...Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars.
