Hi. I was moving my hyoid bone from side to side and pushing on it. Since then, when I swallow on my saliva, I feel something rubbing on mostly the left side of my throat (like a bone/cartilage). It's been going on for 2 days and the sensation has decreased but it's not gone. I don't feel it all when I swallow food/water, it's only when I swallow on nothing or on my saliva that I feel it. I'm worried that I have dislocated something and that I will need surgery. Could that be the case or could the sensation go away?
